Willard Peak

I went on a hike with my son and husband. The mountains behind our house are an absolute incredible part of the Wasatch range.  During the spring and early summer we can observe Mountain Goats climbing the rocks behind our house using a high powered telescope.  Today we decided to climb the canyon walls to see how close we could get to the goats.  This is a really hard hike.  The first part is pretty much straight up scrambling along the rocks.  As we got higher up it was easy to see how the goats traversed the mountain side.  There were plenty of trails they were just hard to see from down below.  We were surprised when we looked up and saw a mountain goat about 50 feet way and even more surprised when we rounded the corner and saw one 20 feet from us.  These are the pictures from that hike.
